The mission of the New Kensington-Arnold School District, a vibrant and inviting centerpiece of the community, is to ensure that each student is prepared, inspired, and motivated to be a successful contributing citizen of an ever-evolving global society by engaging and challenging students with personalized instruction, teaching excellence, innovative technology, and high expectations for superior academic achievement while embracing our unique traditions, heritage, and diversity in a safe, nurturing, student-centered environment.

Kennywood School Picnic - Saturday, May 31, 2025

The New Kensington-Arnold School District Kennywood School Picnic Day is May 31, 2025.

If you plan on attending the day of the picnic, tickets are $31.99, and must be purchased online before May 16th. Price increases to $35.99 after May 16th.

If you aren't sure if you can make it to Kennywood on May 31st, there is a second ticket option. Tickets are $37.99, and they are valid through July 13th. Good any day tickets are only available to purchase online until June 30th.

No Education Committee Meeting in March

There will not be an Education Committee Meeting in March. Regular monthly meetings will resume in April.

After School Meals at Roy A. Hunt Elementary - Beginning Tuesday, March 4, 2025

The Nutrition Group and New Kensington-Arnold School District will be offering after-school meals to school-age children in the Community. Beginning Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 meals will be served at Roy A Hunt Elementary School, 1701 Alcoa Drive, Arnold, Tuesday’s and Thursday’s only, 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The program is free and open to all school-age children are 18 years of age or younger at the start of the 2024-2025 school year. Admission is open to all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. For more information, click the title above to view the flyer.
