Athletic/Finance Committee Meeting - Wednesday, April 24, 2024

The New Kensington-Arnold School Board will have an Athletic/Finance Committee Meeting on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Board Room at VJSHS, 703 Stevenson Boulevard, New Kensington, PA and also virtually via Microsoft Teams. Information for joining the Teams Meeting will be available on the NKASD Website the day of the meeting.

Strengthening Families Program for Parents and Youth (age 10-14)

The ParentWISE Program of Wesley Family Services is presenting their Strengthening Families Program for parents and youth (age 10-14). Strengthening Families is an evidence-based parent, youth, and family skills-building curriculum that prevents teen substance abuse and other behavior problems, strengthens parent/youth communication skills, increases academic success in youth and prevents violence and aggressive behavior at home and at school. Classes will be held on Thursdays, April 25th – May 23rd, 2024. Dinner is at 5:30 p.m., and class is 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wesley Family Services Pioneer, 1045 4th Avenue, New Kensington.
